Yes, I love Standing Egg. A couple days after this song was released they/he/she (I don't which one >.<) asked the fans via Facebook about which singer they, the fans, want to Standing Egg has a collaboration with. The comment section was spammed with Clover by fans that including me. What else we can say, we adore Clover. That's a fangirl's impulse. Hah. But I think new singer suggestion would be appropriate.
Put fangirl side aside: Hyuna from Urban Zakapa, Kim Yoon-ah from Jaurim (Can you imagine: Soft breeze music from Standing Egg mingled with deep rocky Kim Yoon-ah's voice?!), leeSa from friendz.net, or Whale from W&Whale. For the male part: BigBang's Daesung (it is time for him to come back, no?), V.O.S' Kim Yoo-rok (he's in the army though :[ ), Ashgray's No Min-hyuk, Boohwal's Jeong Dong-ha, or FT Island's Lee Hong-ki! (ah you, such a primanoona). I know there will be some difficulties when artists from different label want to team up, do collaboration, and release a single or album, though it doesn’t mean it is impossible. It is like blessing in disguise, recent Hyun Bin's visit on Indonesia. While the rest part of the world is screaming and crying because they won't see Hyun Bin at any showbiz activities for 2 years according to his recent military duty started on March, 2011. On the contrary, I and my fellow Indonesia K drama addicts got the chance to meet him in person, which I doubt that we would have the same opportunity if he was not in his situation like right now.
Due to Indonesia National Army's anniversary on 5th October, and recent agreement between Indonesia and Korea on Indonesia’s import of T-50 Golden Eagle aircraft from Korea and join development of Korea-Indonesia Fighter Xperiment (KIF-X) aircraft, Indonesia government had requested Hyun bin's visit to Indonesia to Korea Ministry of National Defense. With Secret Garden is currently airing in Indonesia, the popularity of the already popular Hyun bin has surged up even higher. With Korean Ministry of National Defense's approval, Hyun bin visited Indonesia as Korea defense industry ambassador on October 4 to October 7, 2011.
Hyun bin arrived at Soekarno – Hatta airport, Cengkareng, Indonesia, on October 4, night. The following day, October 5, he attended Indonesia National Army anniversary ceremony at Cilangkap. After, he, together with Korea ambassador for Indonesia Kim Young Sun, visited Indonesia Marine's headquarter at Cilandak. There, he watched sea craft infiltration demo and anti-terrorist invasion by Indonesia Marine personnel. Riding amphibian tank owned by Indonesia Marine, Hyun bin went to shooting area to try to do some shoot.

His attendance in Indonesia National Army anniversary ceremony on October 5, successfully captured high enthusiasm from Indonesian journalist and hysterical fans. Even during outdoor lunch after the ceremony, he, looked uncomfortable, tended to avoid camera and tried to hide behind his sunbae and bars supporting the tent (Psst). He seemed not expect the massive crowd, the continual hysterical screaming, and of course the "mas bin" (it is like Hyun bin-ssi but it can be considerate as Hyun bin oppa in Indonesian (we don't have a word for Hyung) and imagine that was shouted by male Indonesian journalist. Pssst). Thankfully, he could go safely into his car, provided by Korea embassy, despite the crowd.
It would be such a waste, if there was Hyun bin, "the cousin of hallyu star", and Indonesia government didn't try to snag an opportunity to seize his fame to live up event and promote Indonesia army image. So, on October 6, Hyun bin presented as special guest in a live concert program at Cilandak hold by Indonesia Marine to celebrate their anniversary at the same day and aired in one of Indonesia television station.
He was wearing his green military uniform and came up to stage accompanied with translator. The first thing that he did was a solute to the audience. He appeared for 10 minutes and went through a short interview. No singing. He looked formal, confused and out of place, meanwhile brilliantly maintained a friendly appearance like he has been trained for years. The hosts of the show seemed know nothing about K entertainment (My K drama addict bias could interfere, no thing look the same after you become an addict). One of the host asked how Secret Garden had been going on like the drama is still in shooting time, in production (Guys, Secret Garden is not Indonesia drama that has no storyline, no character development, no ends, with crappy music, bad camera angle, and cheap setting.Yes, I'm cruel that way. Actors are moving on, trying new dramas, movies, military service, and New Character. I mean it, New Character, not just a lame name change). He smoothly refused to talk about his drama Secret Garden by saying he came to Indonesia as Korea defense industry ambassador.
Hyun bin was asked about Korean-Indonesia relationship, his view about Indonesia army, and his expectation on two countries' join in military program. On which it was kind of strange to me when the host continued referring to “his” view, “his” expectation when questioning. Should be anything that Hyun bin says refer to Korea as a country? It was not about his but about what Korea expect and want to see in the future because he was represent him self as Korea representative. The funny thing is when he was asked about in the matter of his recent duty, he was answering like he just read the stuff right from the script and his expression changed from confused to.... Flat.

And why the question about girlfriend had to bring up in this session? I wonder if he has already been sick and tired with this kind of question. Because I am. Because he is "Korean defense industry ambassador", duh! Because I think the question about girlfriend/boyfriend and what type girl/boy that the actor like should be just left behind and let them rest. Because they are just stupid and mostly we are gonna get the same answer, NO, Eopso, Eopseumnida. Sigh and one of the hosts tried to make a guess or a tease (I don't know which one): Is not Han Ji-eun? Come on guys try harder, she has a real name and Hyun bin is not Rain.
I always consider Hyun bin as an actor with a good head over his shoulder. He is not just a pretty face. Supported with good management, his career has been steady up. His acting ability has improved over the year. It is not like Lee Seung-gi’s boy next door image, but no doubt he has this good image (the man whom you want to marry ahem). Scored almost perfect in physical examination (huh like it is not obvious already), he enlisted to military service as a combat soldier in Marine Corps, when many his fellow actors choose to go to PR unit. Many people praised him for it, and here's come a better and better image. So then Hyun bin fans are furious when they find out that Hyun bin got to do many PR jobs, they are not supposed in Hyun Bin’s job list as combat soldier. A participant in Marine marathon competition. A MC for Marine Corps band concert. An ambassador for army industry. A photo book. A Controversy.
I still don’t get it what Indonesia government thinks requesting Hyun bin’s visit to Indonesia. It is to seal the deal? Yeah, whatever. I still don’t find necessary to have him here for that (not that I complain :P). Watching him on television brought mixed feeling to me, somewhere between giggle and cringe. I saw an actor playing robot with gun, tank and fancy aircraft. But hey a man got to do what he got to do. It is military. He is Hyun Bin. There’re two years of military service. He did what he can do best. I do wish Hyun bin will come to Indonesia in better occasion, playing himself.

Probably, there is a correlation between the sucker the drama is and the more interested I am to watch it. Or perhaps I'm just a die hard Kang Ji-hwan fan. XD Because that what is Lie to Me for me. I'm just a bit sad when reading people bashing this drama. I suppose some people did not sleep for hours while doing this drama production (like people in the other K drama production in that crack live-shoot system) , they sweats and tears blood for it. And sometime people on internet are just cruel. But after all I can not lie to my self, this drama is just nuttsell. Upss :D. Hey life is too short for bad drama, isn't it?

P.S:
I mention the episode of these kisses happen because some of my K drama folk family members said they only want to watch the kiss scenes and avoid watch the whole series *facepalm*. Now, go watch and fast forward! :)
If you hate K drama for its unreal kiss, then you should watch Lie to Me. Really a kiss in drama is like break it or make it. Bad kiss ruins the mood and the romantic atmosphere. Erotic holding hands and longed-meaningful gaze are preferable, much preferable than a bad kiss. If you choose to do a peck, why not choose a kiss on the forehead or cheek instead? They are more romantic. And to make it worst is when our plucky bubbly looked innocent and pure heroine starts to play awkward after it and act like "OMFG you stole my 1st kiss!" Sigh. I HATE IT.
Based on their track records (Coffee House, Coffee Prince) I can say that both of them are good drama kisser. So from the start, even before the start, I had already expected, I would get to watch a good kiss scene(s) from this drama. And wala dream come true :)

Yoo Eun-hye's hair is to die for. And she's freaking sexy.
And that's it. Lol. I meant it. The only good thing about Lie to Me is those kiss scenes.
What the chemistry between the lead? Swear I feel nothing sort of. I only know Yoo Eun-hye does cry a lot.
Why you should not watch?
Characters:
Like in every K drama about chaebol ever =_=
Perfectionist haughty cold chaebol first lead male character. Meh. I thought he's going to be at least a quirky one (I love quirky character) with colorful flower brooch, train miniature and all. But that is just a front. The character is just haughty and cold that as usual turns to be a warmer one because of our heroine. (I sick with this kind of pattern. For once, the girl is the one who becomes the cold and haughty and NOT change until the end of drama. Because love doesn't make people want to change their lover, but accept them just the way they are.)
That's not so much. The character that I dislike the most from this drama is Yoo Eun-hye's Gong Ae-jung, more than Soran herself. After it if you ask what's kind of female lead type of character that I don't like in K drama? My answer is Gong Ae-jung in Lie to Me like kind of character. Too bubbly, sloppy, trying too hard to be sweet and warm, has no stance and standpoint. Arggggh. Another reason why I dislike this kind of character is because it is just too many. Too common. Boring.
Thank God she becomes less irritating to me after episode 4, after some reasons are putted in her head. I can feel bit empathy when she's crying. It is not like every drama scriptwriter has to make a character according to my taste. No it is not. (Yes keep doing those things to your character, scriptwriter, I may just not watch your drama. It is simple like that. Everybody's happy. I'm not Ae jung). She knows she doesn't like Soran, but she's stick to her, bother with ever single things that Soran does or says, even tells a big stupid unreasonable lie about marriage.
P.S:
After some discussion I and my friends decided to call the way Ae jung keeps sticking to Soran no matter how Soran irritates her nerve as Soran sydrome.
The big question: Why she must lie? Ok at 1st she may lie because emotional stimulation cuts some reasoning circuit in her brain. But 2nd, 3rd, 4th lies? Can she just say, "I'm joking alright?" I wish she just says like that and turns to be a cool, carefree character, just like her approach on other things and her appearance that seem making her carefree person. Turn out to be that just a front too. Sheez this drama really lives up its name, Lie to Me.
The Plot
And the main reason why Lie to Me is such a crappy drama is that it is lack of basic plot on which the ground of the whole story lies. There're other dramas that have a lie as their basic plot, Miss Ripley with Jang Miri lies about her educational background (the reason why she lies is the most convincing among the three) and Baby-faced Beauty with Lee So-young lies about her age and name. I mean if you want to use a lie as a basic plot makes the lie big. Or if the lie that has been used is a little white lie, makes the product of the lie big and dramatic. Lie to Me fails in both.
The story is started when Ae jung, because she wants to look good and doesn't want to be the looser again in a battle between she versus Soran who stoles her university crush, Jae Bum, lies about she has been married. At first, I was oh ok though with rolling of eyes for the 1st lie. But for the next lie: What the heck...... Then the lie snowballs into "bigger" lie that brings Kang Ji-hwan's Hyeon Ki-joon in. And for the plot device, they bring in a hotel entrepreneur from China. This hotel entrepreneur’s wife is so charmed by Ae jung whom she and her husband think is Ki joon's wife. That thought about Ae jung starts from a little white lie conducted by Sanghee, Ki joon's little brother, who jokingly introducing her as Ki joon's wife. But then it is seen as an opportunity to attract the investment, instead. Indeed all those little white stupid lies snowball into much "bigger" lies.

They seem really "emotional" in every aspect including business.
As I said before, if they want to use a little un-harming lie at the beginning, they should provide the big and dramatic lie product. Just for so the stake is high. But Lie to Me is just not doing so. It keeps bringing useless plot device (Brother’s love affair? Sticky ex-fiancée ? Confused aunty? Or “I’m just not so into marriage” reason (WTF Ae jung? After all?). So Ae jung will be fired if her boss knows the lie? But no one will be left homeless and penniless. She still has her father to provide for her till she finds another good job (yes, I believe she can, she ain’t no Jang Miri). So something will happen on World hotel if the investment from China not flowing in? It doesn’t seem so. Maybe the hotel expansion to China will face some problems, but Hyeon Ki-joon will still have the world hotel, or at least his aunty will, no one will go broke suddenly, no one will be haunted by dep collector (as usual in K drama land), no one will go to jail, no one die… Ain’t they can not be together or should separate if the truth is coming? It ain’t so, and no one will be devastated hurt too (no Sang hee or the ex-fiance (Yoon joo), they have met their peace believe me). The reason why they must lie confuses me till no end. Just tell the truth and get married already.

The acting
Let me tell you I'm the last person who you should ask about acting. Not only because I'm not good in judging someone's acting, because I can easily forgive bad acting for well-developed character and good storyline. But I can not help but ask: What the heck they do with My Kang Ji-hwan?? No one will say he can not act. He's good in Capital Scandal and Hong Gil dong. He's fabulous in Coffee House. He has good comic timing. But he seems so awkward in Lie to Me. He has this unnatural face expression and posturing. Ugh these gives me bad memory, I want to erase.
And the last of the reasons, it wins the cheesiest drama of the year award. *cringe, cringe, cringe* Yes there’s a thin line between romantic and cheesy. I think a good narration with good story line will help.
The Rating
The average rating is 8,4% with the highest is 9,3% nationwide and 11,7% Seoul (source TNS media). Bad rating doesn’t always mean bad drama. But a bad drama is a bad drama.
The OST
I don't know maybe because the characters, storyline, acting wise didn't capture my attention. The OST s become more profound to hear, yet Lie to Me isn't included in drama that plays its OSTs all over again until you get crazy (literally) about. So Lie to Me OST flows, with a little bit repetition. The OSTs from early episodes mostly will not appear in latter episodes. And yes it is the winner of drama OST album of the year award for me this far.
