It looks like bad mojo of 2nd season never wins over 1st season is still going strong. I’m little bit disappointed with 2nd season of Vampire Prosecutor. Just weee a bit. Nevertheless, Prosecutor Min Tae Yeon is still my favorite kind of vampire up to this date. So let’s not dwell on the bad part, let’s move to the brighter side and find away to make this show worth the watch. Hah. Cause you know a simple, boring life can be an great adventure depends on how you look at it :D
So what’s the change?

The PD.
The change is so little, not significant, almost unnoticeable. There is still the same stylish look, the same paced camera movement, the same nuance. The conclusion is I can’t pin point exactly what change that this new PD brought to the show. But for me is as simple as this vampire and blood is inseparable, so if they want to make me root for the vampire, they have to make me strive for the blood, spilled or not spilled. I don’t mind gory thing, but if I can choose, I prefer blood that looks beautiful and artistically crafted. This is what 2nd season fails to make me. It fails to make me crave for more blood.

The fashion stylish.
Did the old PD bring along the fashion stylish with him when he walked out from the series? Hmmm.  Don’t they know I never get enough vampire prosecutor with his fancy jacket, skinny jeans, and scarf around his neck. It is not that he does a fashion crime, and looks less stylish. And dude I love Yoon Jeon-hoon’s body proportion :P Anyway I want it if they decide to cloth our vampire prosecutor closer to runaway model, they should just do it to the max, not just half way there.

And our gangster’s daughter, female prosecutor resident, Yoo Jung-in. She got a lobotomy! What happen to a sassy prosecutor with girl next door look? So a kickass, tough heroin cannot have an innocent, girl next door look? *pout* Isn’t the more contrast the look and the attitude, the greater the effect?

The make-up artist.
I hate Tae-yeon’s new hair bang! It is so unnatural on the few first episodes, like he needs to keep hairspray close by while chasing a bad guy.

And Jung-in: The darker eyeliner, the thinner eyebrows, the thicker face foundation, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong.

I miss Dong-man’s Gu Jun-pyo hairstyle…..

Soon-Boom, thanks for not to change :)

Okay, I may stop my petty rant. And the most significant change is the way of the story plotted. One appealing factor from Vampire Prosecutor season 1 is that they successfully integrate the week-to-week case or which I call loose case with the overall background story. But in the new season it feels like the loose cases are just filler. But I appreciate this show’s effort to deconstruct a vampire mythology. Is the vampire being made or being born? That’s the question need to be answer. Should the title be changed too into Once Upon A time: A History of Vampire in Korea? Heh.

And the way the plot is written is so confusing. It goes back and forth, it goes forward to the future but not to ‘now’ yet, flashback over flash back, until I loose the track of time. The writer should look up to the writer of, for example,  Answer Me 1997. When the writing of a story with parallel time line is good, the audience will never get confused even if the time information about when the scene taken place isn’t added to the screen. The audience can just feel it. Or perhaps the confusing thing is one of this show’s plus point since I would not have any desire to write this if it is not this confusing. Kh. Yeah I need to write this or else I would loose some sleep (You? Pohonphee? Loosing sleep? The sleeping monster? :P), trying connecting the dots. So here we go...

Warning: Spoiler rain ahead.

Back we are to season one. So story begins with chain traffic accident in one of highways. Cars are blown up, fire lights up, glass is shattered, blood is splattered, and yet no body is dead. No, when two vampires involve. There are our still-human prosecutor Min Tae-yeon, already-vampire lawyer Park Hoon, and a mysterious Hooded vampire have spectacular rendezvous.  So spectacular that death is no longer take-home jackpot but being undead it is. Tae-yeon who has been in crazy drive trying to catch Lawyer Park Hoon for some information about mysterious, vampire’s victim like serial cases before the Hooded vampire puts a halt in chasing cars, is the lucky one to bring the jackpot home. Thanks the lawyer, he becomes a vampire.

After the accident, Lawyer Park Hoon goes missing. The Hooded vampire becomes unsolved mystery. And Tae-yeon has a fire lighter, a mysterious card with the same symbol as the lighter and an apartment with serial-murder kind of wall left for him by Lawyer Park. Also Tae-yeon has new best buddy, a “Blood” club owner, to provide his new special need. The story goes back way before the car accident that we know that the “Blood” club owner was a doctor, specialist in hematology. He was doing a research about new type blood a.k.a bad blood alias vampire blood in one hospital. He assumed he would be acclaimed as the best in his field if he can prove that vampire blood may save human’s life.

Consumed by his ambition, he accidentally (or not) had changed one of patients delivered to his emergency unit from a traffic accident scene 7 years ago, into a vampire by blood transfusion . Wake up as a vampire, that patient  has run away, wild and free, and found his first victim, a young school girl in her way home. Viola, turn out his first victim is Tae-yeon’s missing little sister, Yeon-ji, whom Tae-yeon has been searching for while. Lawyer Park has told Dr. Blood at his club about the fact the night before Tae-yeeon became a vampire. Apparently he was also a regular visitor of Blood club.

Vampire’s-victim-like serial killer cases keep erupting, Tae-Yeon is suspecting Hooded Vampire has something to do with this. But somehow his prosecutor boss, Prosecutor Jang, is interrupting the investigation for time to time. What’s the matter? Surprisingly, one who is suspected as one of Hooded Vampire’s victims has successfully escaped herself out. Though she can’t tell where she has been kept or by whom she has been kidnapped.  Have been blindfolded and traumatized ,she can’t remember anything about the kidnapping, except one terrifying looking man had taken her to a place unknown to her in which she found her circled friend has been bloodily killed. But just by her comeback is enough to lead Jung-in and Dong-man to find closed warehouse filled with bodies, blood drained to death.

Based on Dr. Blood’s testimony, Soon-boom starts investigating the traffic accident 7 years ago to identify Hooded Vampire’s identity. Meanwhile Tae-Yeon begins his investigation of the accident from sneaking around the building at where is law firm Lawyer Park Hoon had worked for. Oddly all people involving in the traffic accident have been dead. There left only two witnesses, one is a pickpocketer in duty who saw one of victim walking death from the hospital bed and gives Soom-boom a car plate numbers that had crashed him down, and a veteran police who is on the edge of death confirms that the car plat number is a prosecutor’s. So a prosecutor had been taking part in the accident.

After facing some hindrances from securities and waiting all day long outside, Tae-yeon can go into Park Hoon’s law firm headquarter where the most secretive files of the entire vampire’s-victim-like serial killer cases, handled by the firm, have been securely kept. He uses the card that used to be Lawyer Park Hoon’s to open and run the elevator. Flipping through the record files, he finds that the cases have been passed down form several generations of lawyers in the firm with ever-young Park-Hoon as the supervisor. But that beside the point, since the same with Park Hoon that had handled the cases since forever, at the attorney side, there’s one and only prosecutor who insists to work on the cases year after year. And Soon-boom gives him call about the prosecutor thing.

Tae-yeon dashes to confront the prosecutor about the matter. No less, he has to bring the prosecutor over to the interrogation room from the warehouse where Jung-in has found piles of dead bodies with the same pattern of two holes on the neck. Tae-yeon pushes hard to make a confession out from the prosecutor’s mouth. No fail. The prosecutor, higher in rank, puts a smug face and scoff. He comments how Tae-yeon can treat his senior with no respect and even more accuse him over such a ridiculous subject like vampire. Does he really believe in vampire, he asks Tae-yeon. Really? Really?? Oh well, he giggles, Tae-Yeon stammers.

Then the table is turned, three more victims were found with the same two holes on the neck, but from three different places. The prosecutor uses the victims as his alibi and walks out scot-free. Two detectives burst into the interrogation room and accuse Tae –yeon for the death of the only one living eye-witness. There’s no way Tae-yeon can excuse himself from the accuse, they say.  No, when people saw him near once-living witness around the time of death and his finger-prints are found over her body. They put him in detention and try to make him admit. After days have been passed by, still no words from him. It is also puzzled them how in so many days, he can stand with no food or drink. Till one day he asks to DNA test his blood instead, to match it with blood found in crime scene. But before the test takes place, Tae-yeon has already freed himself by threatening to kill the examiner.

Once he’s free, he calls Soon-boom to ask blood from the last three victims. He needs to solve the last three cases. If the Hooded vampire was with him and there were three victims died in meanwhile, so they must have been victims of another vampire, mustn’t they? Are there other vampire beside himself, the Hooded vampire, the missing Lawyer Park, and Yeon-ji? Before he makes it through to Soon-boom, he must regain his strength, it has been days since the last time he tastes some blood. So he heads to Blood club. But the Hooded vampire, that we also know now he is a prosecutor, can predict this and he sends a SWAT team to Tae-yeon’s way. His SWAT team raids Blood club, takes all its blood, and then leaves the owner, Dr. Blood, blood-drained.

Riding by his guilty feeling of having created Hooded vampire that turned Tae-yeon’s sister into blood thirsty creature or there’s indeed something thicker than blood, Dr. Blood realizes Tae-yeo’s dire need of blood. Whereas his blood bar can no longer provide Tae-yeon with blood, he’s thinking the quickest way to get blood for his dearest friend. He pleads Tae-yeon to just suck up blood from his dying body. Tae-yeon refuses to do it, he can’t let another person turns to a blood thirsty creature like him.  Tears run down his face.  Dr. Blood pleads once more. He says at least he can repay to him for what he has done to Tae-yeon’s sister. But eh, Tae-yeon says Dr. Blood can show his remorse by bearing his guilty feeling throughout his entire life. Dr. Blood gives another shot to persuade Tae-yeon, he says Tae-yeon needs to stay alive to stop all the madness Hooded vampire has been created. Down Tae-yeon to Dr. Blood’s neck. Glug, glug, glug, the first taste of fresh human blood.

With the new strength, Tae-yeon manages to meet Soon-boom by beating off the SWAT team coming his way. Soon-boom brings him the blood and information that the last three victims have different set of fangs on their neck, indicate they probably come from different vampire. As he swallows the blood, the last visions of the three victims come to him and that make him have to shallow the hard fact that there’s a big chance that Yeon-ji is the murderer. He needs to confirm this fact and find out where Yeon-ji is from the prosecutor.

Tae-yeon gives the prosecutor’s house night visit. He demands an explanation about what he has been doing to his sister. The prosecutor puts some resistance, the two vampires fight each other, punch meets punch, fang meet fang, but no upper hands. Then the prosecutor tries to dissuade Tae-yeon by telling him the story. Though he and Yeon-ji aren’t related by blood, but he feels certain connection with Yeon-ji the same with Tae-yeon. It is like fatherly bound. Errr. It is because she is his first victim and he is the one who turned her into a vampire or another way to say like he has reborn her into new life, the life of vampire. Errr.

He says Yeon-ji had outted herself from the warehouse in which she had been locked in and he has been feeding her for seven years because he thinks she was too young when he turned her into a vampire, she couldn’t possibly control her vampire urge for blood. She has been in search for Tae-yeon ever since she saw Tae-yeon’s business card on the escaping victim cue to the last places where the last three victims founded. He asks Tae-yeon where else Yeon-ji may head to find him. He suggests Tae-yeon they should gather their strength to find Yeon-ji or else vampire existent might get exposed and Yeon-ji can get killed.  Tae-yeon seems taken aback by the prosecutor’s story as crazy as it might sound. So he lets the prosecutor go this time.  He walks out the house to find SWAT team waiting for him. Again. Hooded prosecutor vampire be damned.  Time for the Scooby doo gang comes to rescue. Off Tae-yeon to find Yeon-ji.

At beach on the breezy, sunny day, thee two vampires meet and fight again, spending the time waiting their darling Yeon-ji. Once Tae-yeon shows the indication he will come out as a winner this time around, Yeon-ji comes up. The fight must be put in recess. The ole good memories of them have good time at the same beach flood Tae-yeon’s mind. The brother and sister embrace and hold each other tightly. And just like a jolt of lightning struck him, he finds that Yeon-ji just gives him a bite by the neck. Hah!  Tae-yeon falls down, shocked by new realization this is not the Yeon-ji he used to know.

The now-unhooded prosecutor vampire uses the time to shoot Yeon-ji on the chest like it is the only way to put her under control, and he is the only one who knows that. Nooooooo… Tae-yeon screams, but he is so weak, he can’t move. Prosecutor vampire picks up Yeon-ji from the ground. They look each other longingly like they has already miss each other despite how short time that has been passed. He princess carries Yeon-ji before a bullet rested in his knees. Who knows his SWAT team would fire back at him. They try to stop him from running away after they saw him having shot an innocent little girl. Just to show (in) competent they are, they loose their target again. The Hooded prosecutor vampire leaps into the sea with Yeon-ji on his arms.

The season one ends.  Second season begins.

The season begins with a flashback, taking us to a time where there’s an operation called “Lilith” was conducted. The purpose of the operation is as simple as to create new vampire-like species. For that purpose, they invented a new kind of blood that can revive a human from the death to become a strong vampire-like human with only one short-coming more blood is needed to keep the death away from new human species. The blood itself is named ‘bad blood’.

One experimented vampire like species existed, one injured politician came arrive. And a conspiracy! Both of them ended up sharing a room and also blood. Not to a hospital, the injured man went, but to a military bunker he was taken to by men in military uniform. What a short-lived conspiracy, a group of men in suit surround the bunker demanding to take away the injured man, now being in blood transfusion.  Suits vs. uniforms, the bunker turned into a battle field. Many died, but one became a witness and another went missing.

We are back to present time, we are introduced to a new member to Tae-yeon’s special team, Dr. Jo, a coroner. He is a fifty-something years old, leading a single life, and refusing to drink alcohol because he concerns a dead body might call him anytime and needs him to stay sober. A dedication for a job in the highest. And another case of vampire’s-victim-like case comes to surface. He gives his opinion about the case. He mentions this case is special for the murderer likes to make sure to drain all blood from the victim body. It is like the act of draining the blood out is way more important than the death of the body, itself. Tae-yeon is impressed. But that only got Tae-yeon’s thinking: Isn’t he too good for a new guy?

So we once again are going back to the past, a time right after the bunker incident took place. We see a Lawyer Park Hoon was assigned to do an investigation on the missing one in the bunker incident which turned out he is the vampire-like human in experiment. He had been interrogating the only eye-witness who was one of the two doctors in charge in the Lilith operation. His investigation came to fruition, when he was just one step behind the runaway and finally got to face him face to face. But human versus vampire is no fair game. With red blitz over his eyes, Runaway vampire chopped Park Hoon’s neck. And a vampire, Park Hoon became.

Time moved forward to next few years where Park Hoon was hot on heals, since he was already a vampire at that time, he got more determined to catch the runaway vampire. This investigation is no longer only a job for him, but became his personal obsession. The runaway vampire is his Thing, he was summoned to solve many cases with the victim’s blood was drained to death. In one of those cases, he met the young Dr. Jo. The young Dr. Jo, after three years working for police, still could not adapt to his job, he was puking after he’s seeing a bloody death body after a bloody death body. So Park Hoon was there to give him some piece of mind.

Around that time, after he tasted of little of the vampire life, beside his new found obsession to catch the runaway vampire, he also wanted to find a cure for his vampirely problem. There must be a way to make the process of becoming a vampire is reversible. He met Dr. Blood who was skeptical about vampire existence.  So much in doubt, he refused to help Park Hoon by conducting a research on bad blood. But then Park Hoon found a way to make Dr. Blood believe in vampire. Park Hoon shoved him to the wall, grabbed him by his collar, shows his vampire blue eyes, and fangs out! The research about bad blood is carried on.

Yeon ji isn’t with Hooded vampire after all, since he bribes Dr. Blood to tell Park Hoon that one way to capture runaway vampire is by locating where Yeon-ji is.  Obviously he wants to use Park Hoon as a tool to get his dear Yeon Ji back after runaway vampire with red-eyes pays him a visit and declares he has Yeon Ji with him and then leaves him with a surprise present, one knife stabbed on the chest. Hooded vampire writhes in pain.

Fueled with revenge and rage, runaway, red-eyed vampire is unbeatable. Park Hoon met him twice, and twice he had to admit a defeat. The first was the time when Runaway vampire turned him to become a vampire. And the second was the time when runaway vampire forced him to drink his first fresh human blood. The second time seems one that cut him the deepest, though he’s not one who put death to the unlucky human being, but runaway vampire was. He felt he has apart in killing him, so he decided to quit his job as prosecutor, and became a lawyer that we know from season one. But those didn’t stop Park Hoon to keep chasing the runaway vampire. He built a law firm just for him. He even sired Tae-yeon just to make sure his legacy would be passed on. Hah, look who has found his match, at least at persistence.

The runaway vampire is ruthless, strong, creepy, and unpredictable, I love him as a villain. Not only have we who know about this fact, Dr. Blood knows it too. He tries to stop Tae-Yeon to make the same mistake as Hooded vampire and Park Hoon who tried to put a fight against runaway vampire. As a result, Park Hoon went missing and Hooded vampire is neither dead or alive, can only twitching his muscle. Dr. Blood and Hooded vampire are hiding in their underground bunker to avoid runaway vampire. Meanwhile he continues his research on bad blood. Until Tae-yeon goes to find him for some information about the runaway vampire, since he knows about Park Hoon, Hooded vampire, bad blood, and all that stuff.

Guilty pang strikes again. Dr. Blood insists to keep Tae-yeon on the safe side, till he goes to stick a syringe filled with anesthetic drug onto Tae-yeon. Tae-yeon collapses. When he wakes up, he finds himself tied to bed. “Hyeong”, he called Dr. Blood affectionately and he requests to be released. Flustered, he explains the danger of runaway vampire. And looks, he showed his new wound that he just made by himself, he doesn’t heal fast. Though he is a vampire now, his wound keeps bleeding like a normal human being. What happen is he has used himself as his own object of experiment on bad blood. He figures it is not long till he finds a way that makes a vampire back to human again possible. And once they are human again, runaway vampire will not chase them.  But Tae-yeo doesn’t want to submit to him. Now, Runaway vampire has started to attack his close friends, he can’t just remain silent, do nothing, but to save his self alone. No body resists pleading Tae-yeon. No body.

So the first victim from Tae-yeon inner circle is Dr. Jo’s foster child. Because a rare disease that runs down in his family and already took his brother’s life, Dr. Jo chooses to stay single so that he doesn’t pass his disease to his offspring in case he has one. During his time as a member of Tae-yeon team, he has adopted a child. And the child has been kidnapped. Dr. Jo who just knows how it feels to have a family goes crazy. Tae-yeo, Jung-in, Soom-boom, and Dong-man whom have been asked to keep an eye on his daughter while he is working on dead body in lab, feel guilty. Tae-yeon already senses that runaway vampire is the evil master behind the kidnapping. He tries to keep his team at distance from investigate the case. He even won’t let Soom-boom help him, knowing the danger.

With the help of a psychic, Dr. Jo, ignoring Tae-yeon, begins his own investigation. Dr. Jo comes to feel Runaway vampire’s creepy touch.  Runaway vampire has thrown out baits to lure Dr. Jo to the wrong direction. Losing his child, Dr. Jo can’t think rationally, he easily eats the bait. And that costs the psychic’s life. But before she is completely loose her grip on life, she witness the runaway vampire’s past: How the Runaway vampire had received fake accusation, and without trial had been locked up for years. Then he became experimental rat until they turned him into a vampire. He saw a glimpse of humanity in the one who we know as the witness of the early military bunker incident or one of two doctors of the first bad blood experiment, he begged to him for some mercy. But still at time the doctor had to choose between his son’s interest that needs him to stay on the experiment in hope to find cure for his son’s rare disease, and the Runaway vampire’s interest, the doctor chose to just screw the humanit y, let the kid who had been locked up for doing nothing wrong be a vampire.  And that doctor is Dr. Jo Sr.

Runaway Vampire does make sure to get his point across. There’s no different between vampire and human. They are all the same. They are all just trying to live. When their own life or their beloved one’s being threatened, there’s no such thing called humanity, a selfish huger for survival will always find its way. Before he lets Dr. Jo to meet his foster child, he beats up Dr. Jo to nearly dead. Prepared himself with an injection of bad blood a.k.a vampire blood, he questions Dr. Jo whether he wants to keep his humanity intact and dies or he wants to keep searching for his daughter and be a vampire? No hesitate, a vampire he is. Do you think Runaway vampire will leave one human disapproving his grandeur idea of life?? Not a chance. He gives the honor of changing Dr. Jo to the hands of the psychic. After that he bites her neck and it is up to vampire Dr. Jo to keep her alive by turn her into a vampire or let her die as human. But different people, different choice, she asks Dr. Jo to let her die in peace.

Vampire Dr. Jo doesn’t let anyone stand on his way, not humans (nor the psychic or Soon-boom), not a vampire (Tae-yeon), not even SWAT team. Tae-yeon’s new prosecutor boss, prosecutor Yoo, and her SWAT team have been tailing him when Dr. Jo has become a blood thirst creature and caused many people die.  Soom-boom has been badly injured trying to stop Dr. Jo, and still Jung-in, in her badass way, insists on tracing Dr. Jo. She gets closer and closer before Tae-yeon phone-calls her to slow her down and wait for hum. But you know Jung-in, trace away! And so does she arrive in front of such kind of warehouse. Out her car, she can only be greeted by runaway vampire. She points her gun to him.

“Just shoot me, shoot me, shoot me.” He smirks and walks toward Jung-in.
“Don’t scare with this thing (gun).” He grabs Jung-in’s gun right before her nose.
“I’m not afraid of gun, I’m afraid of the bullets inside.”
“I’m not afraid of person, it is the thought inside that is scary.”
He points the gun back to Jung-in after emptying out the bullets until left only one for he can play Russian roulette. “Where’s Tae-yoen?”
“Don’t scare me with this (gun).”
“Just shoot me instead, bastard.”

Finally Dr. Jo can meet his beloved daughter, Ji-ae for which costs so much blood and lives. But, prosecutor Yoo and her SWAT team now are just right behind the closing door. Tae-yeon begs prosecutor Yoo to let him handle the matter. She decidedly turns deaf ear to him. SWAT team brags in and shoots Dr. Jo right on his heart with Ji-ae witness it all. Poor little girl.

But Dr. Jo’s death doesn’t satisfy prosecutor Yoo yet. She won’t miss her chance to interrogate Tae-yeon. She wants explanation about other finger prints on the psychic’s dead body that don’t belong to Dr. Jo and why Jung-in is nowhere to be found.  He cannot give her answer to whom those finger prints belong, or else he will expose the vampire existence. Nor he knows where Jung-in is. Not yet till runaway vampire tells him.

At empty building, Jung-in has been kept in together with a ticking bomb.  Prosecutor Yoo relentlessly lets Tae-yeon go in purpose to catch the real murderer of dead psychic. She is suspicious about Tae-yeon knows, but somehow doesn’t want her to know.  Runaway vampire calls Tae-yeon and purposes a meeting. He reminds Tae-yeon he has a bomb that is ready to blow Jung-in up.

At mall, the two vampire meet. Runaway vampire tells Tae-yeon to shoo off officers who have been following him up close before he gives the information where Jung-in is. He is waving the bomb remote control to get his request ready. Tae-yeon agrees and beats off all the officers who getting on their way. Tae-yeon, twisted and contorted, navigates the car to evade police cars and to dodge flying bullets, while runaway vampire seems indulging himself in joyride. He sticks his head out of window, feeling the wind breeze. Tae-yeon hurriedly grabs him by the collar and shouts, “Do you want to die?!?”  Err one bullet on the head can kill a vampire Tae-yeon??

They make it through the empty building. Runaway vampire leaves Tae-Yeon on the hands of his gangster minions to be taken care of. But no comparing, one hundred of them are not match with one only Tae-yeon. He reaches the room in which Jung-in is locked and tied up to a chair. Runaway vampire gives Tae-yeon the warmest smile and playing the bomb remote control in his hands. Tae-yeon screams to just let go Jung-in. She has nothing to do with this.

But Runaway vampire ain’t care enough about whether Jung-in is dead or alive. All he wants that Tae-yeon accepting his point of view about life. There’s no different between a vampire and a human. It is time for Tae-yeon to accept his destiny as a vampire and to start a “normal” vampire way of life. There is no better time than now to step down from his high horse and stop his “I’m holier than thou” attitude because there’s nothing to it, all just bullshit. He shoots Tae-yeon on the chest if only for he can ask his favorite question: Would he choose to spare Jung-in’s live and die or would he bite her then turn her into vampire so he can continue to live? Just for Tae-yeon knows, he knows where Yeon-ji is. So now choose his life, Jung-in’s life, or Yeon-ji’s life? Tae-yeon shows hesitation when he hears Yeon-ji name thrown into mix. And runaway vampire figures the way so thing easier to Tae-yeon by cutting off the choices. He chops down Jung-in’s neck. Accccck!!

Surely that puts Tae-yeon into moves. Both vampires do a vampire battle. Tae-yeon pushes runaway vampire’s back onto sticking steal rod until it goes through his chest and he bites his neck, sucking his blood. Not dead yet, but runaway vampire is weakening. Tae-yeon uses his time to tend Jung-in who is already unconscious. He says sorry to make her like this. And he drops Jung-in ‘s body to piles of trash down below outside the building that will be blown up in seconds. To make sure the runaway vampire really dies, won’t ever run wild and free ever again, with chains on his hands, Tae-yeon walks toward runaway vampire and….. Camera zooms out. The building blows up.
Months later

Prior to the time, Soom-boom is still in search for Tae-yeon. Together with Dr. Blood, he has been tracking Tae-yeon down. He is sure that Tae-yeon is not dead yet. His body is not found in the remnant of blown up building. He’s also sure runaway vampire that Tae-yeon had been looking for was with him that time. Runaway vampire’s body couldn’t be found either. Soom-boom thinks Dr. Blood must have been familiar with runaway vampire or bad blood.  He shows runaway vampire’s photo to Dr. Blood and asks:” This is the bad blood, right?” Dr. Blood looks dazed and confused.. He says this is not the bad blood that he used to know. Arghhhh, Show!!!!!! For all those scenes, I feel duped!

Well at least Tae-yeon is still alive. Sigh

Am late to join the vampire bandwagon. But they said better late than never. Anyway i also have almost same question with you for season 2 and if Jung In alive Tae Yeon must be sucesfully kill the runaway vampire? As i thought must kill the original vampire that bites you to survive. We all wait for season 3 but i dont think it will be made since now yeon jung hoon busy with Mask drama.

Hi there, it's so long ago, I almost forget the VP story plot. I keep my hope whatever small it is that VP season 3 will come back grace our screen. Wishing OCN as persistent as MBC that wants to bring back Dae Jang Geum after so many years. I don't care even I just get VP Take 2 with Taeyeon's hair turn white and have hideous looking model as long as I get my questions answered! :|
