Neon Bunny 야광토끼  released a new MV for her song 조금씩 다가와줘 Come A Little Bit Closer. Before I just know that there’s a Korean indie artist named Neon Bunny. Perhaps, I have come across its music before, so I can tell that its music genre is kind of electric pop. But just that’s it.

I get bored easily, I have to feed my self with some new music every day. If the music is not really catchy, not unique, or simply not my cup of tea (jazz, bossa, a bit of R & B, ballad, slow/pop rock, and POP!), I will just pass by it right away. I know some music just don’t work immediately, at the 1^st time we listen to them. So, we need something to make us give the music or song a chance to be replayed. It’s a time for MV to come and take its part.

And that’s what this MV doing to me. It got me to replay the Neon Bunny song, just because HAH: What’s with those scattered abs? @-@ Yes, it got me, the shallow part of me. Nope, I’m not shame with that. Ehm, I’m not a fan of very toned man, usually (really?). I like ma boy, flowery & pretty, jeongmal :D (That’s why k pop). Oh well, who can deny the pull of abs' gravity. There must be a reason for the existence of those abs in the MV, right? Because of God doesn’t play dice with us. Ha, ha, ha

Neon Bunny야광토끼 (Yagwang thokki) is a stage name which Lim Yu-jin (임유진) is under. She debuted early this year with Seoulight album. Mostly songs in Seoulight album are up beat song with electric pop touch. And it is fun to hear it. I feel like to hear this kind of music in early morning when I need something to ‘motivate’ me positively to start a day. Honestly her music reminds me of Taru (her latest album is excluded :P) with prominent drum sound at the back.There’s an interview, which she did it together with band Mongoose, saying that her music is “indie like-idol”. Let me think about it. Perhaps it is, but not exactly that way. Emm idols’ music without autotune? Idols’ music minus the odd and bizarre Engrish phrases?

My favorite songs in this album are track no. 7 Falling and track no. 8 Comm Ave. All are up beat. And there’s a song with LaLaLa title. Hear, it might sound stupid, but that makes me think: What’s up Korean with la, la, la? Why not na. na, na or da, da, da ? But this time is the real one, it is really LaLaLa song.
