스탠딩 에그 (Standing Egg): 휴식 Rest; FLY (with Clover) [lyric, romanization, and translation]

If I am asked to describe 스탠딩 에그 Standing Egg's music, one word, it is Awesome. First to know is from Allkpop. I used to wonder why Standing Egg got so much publicity from Allkpop as you know that site is about ahoy KPOP!  Standing Egg is an indie…. Well, the answer is simple because Standing Egg is simply amazing. But eh if I'm asked what Standing Egg is, yet I'm still confused. People are mistaken that Standing Egg is a band formed by Clover (vocal and guitar), Han Kyul (double bass), and Hana (Jembe). Actually, there's Gray too. She plays piano.

Well I can say it is not. It is a project. I made my guess, perhaps it is like Clazziquai Project with DJ Clazzi as head project and Alex and Horan as "instrument". Unlike Clazziquai Project, person who is behind it is still yet to be known. So when you know there's a single like Fly that is listed with "with Clover" don't be confused. Yes I know, it is kind of mysterious. So Clark Kent what you've got behind your back? :)

But that is not the case, because Standing Egg's music is so good and easy listening. It makes people happy and relax. And it makes me singing like praying every morning. It can go to jazzy one or go to folk alternative pop one at the other time. And if you are like me who like acoustic music, then Standing Egg's music is heaven sent. I really love the idea of Standing Egg first's full length album which its title With describing all. Because it got me a chance to enjoy the wonderful journey of listening Standing Egg's music with different voices. And then come Standing Egg's mini album Lucky. It doesn't go too far from its first album. It is rich with acoustic sound. Well, I tell you, it brings peace feeling to me and it is like telling me "Hey, let's rest for a bit". But It is not enough of Standing Egg with just its first full length album and mini album, because Standing Egg is quite productive. It released some singles between those two albums (사랑한대 (Love You) with Windy, 앓이 (Hurt) with Windy, FLY (경기국제항공전 테마송) (with Clover), 사랑에 빠져본 적 있나요 (Have You Ever Fallen in Love?) (with Ra.D) (Acoustic Ver.)). And I love them all. :D

Anyway, for ME (fangirling warning!) Standing Egg is not complete without Clover! Shame on me in my almost one year history of knowing Standing Egg, I just found out about him, well around 3 months ago, wee....Here the story, as you know how awesome Standing Egg's music is, so at first a counter I didn't bother to check its video or mv, just music without visual is enough to spoiled me. And Standing Egg single and album covers are beautiful. But then come a thought: what kind of fan am I who don’t know the face or the true entity of her beloved artist. So I started to give one video a try Kiss. And whoops I almost dropped my eye balls. Who the heck is this boy?? @-@

"Omo, eonni you should check Standing Egg's video! The vocalist, the vocalist is yeppeo, and he's playing guitar with t-shirt and blue jeans, that hotness!!

Yeps, Standing Egg means indie music with k pop idol eye pleasure for me since then. ha ha ha.Thank God he never went to K pop idol slavery kingdom. That would be a big lost. I love t-shirt and blue jeans, and I dislike neon green pants, eww (I assure you Siwon, that pants will hunt you). The guitar playing (let alone the beautiful hands!), how effortless he sings, and that voice, they are golden.

I unashamedly admit, now I'm collecting Standing Egg's videos and Clover's video of course :). My favorite live video is 붉은 달 Red Moon from Clover Feat.소히. Swear this song is sound much better live. I so like the way they keep Clover's voice at the distant (thanks Indie2Go) because it doesn't make it less beautiful, it enhances it instead. I know the eggshaker sound goes randomly somewhere along the way, but I still like this live performance more than the studio version.
